Eminent Economist Professor Arun Kumar delivered an expert lecture on Demonetisation:

Justification and Impact in ITM-University on 28 January, 2017. He is one of the most widely quoted authors on black money. He has authored The Black Economy in India (Penguin, 1999) and Indian Economy since Independence: Persisting Colonial Disruption (Vision Books, 2013).

Prof. Kumar said that Demonetisation is going to cast an adverse impact on the economic status of the country in the long run and to bring an end to black money, a strong political will is required. After his lecture, Prof. Yogesh Upadhya ( Head of the Department, School of Business, Jiwaji University,Gwalior) highlighted some important points on the same topic.
