Project-based learning (PBL) in agriculture involves students tackling real-world agricultural challenges through hands-on projects. This approach helps students apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations, enhancing their problem-solving abilities, creativity, and critical thinking. In PBL, students often work in teams, promoting collaboration and communication skills. The outcomes include a deeper understanding of agricultural systems, improved technical skills, and the ability to address complex issues in the field, making PBL a valuable educational method in agriculture.
Activity-Based Continuous Assessment (ABCA) emphasizes the integration of regular, hands-on activities into the curriculum, shifting the focus from traditional exams to continuous evaluation of student learning.
