Activity-Based Continuous Assessment in Nursing involves evaluating students through ongoing, practical activities rather than traditional exams. This approach integrates regular assessments into the learning process, allowing students to demonstrate their skills and understanding in real-time. This method promotes active learning, enhances clinical reasoning, and better prepares students for the practical demands of their future nursing careers. Activity-Based Continuous Assessment in Nursing utilizes various methods to evaluate students' performance throughout their training:
Internship Training in Nursing provides students with hands-on experience in real-world healthcare settings, bridging the gap between academic learning and clinical practice. Internship training is a critical component of nursing education, ensuring that students are well-prepared to transition from academic settings to professional nursing roles
An Industrial Visit in nursing provides students with an invaluable opportunity to gain practical insights into the workings of healthcare facilities. During these visits, nursing students explore various departments of hospitals or clinics, observe real-life patient care, and interact with healthcare professionals. This hands-on experience allows students to see how theoretical knowledge is applied in clinical settings, enhancing their understanding of medical procedures, patient management, and hospital operations. The visit also fosters professional networking, as students engage with experienced practitioners and gain exposure to different healthcare roles. By bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world practice, industrial visits significantly contribute to the students' overall educational experience, preparing them for their future careers in nursing.
