9th National Conference on Recent Advances in Chemical & Environmental Sciences (RACE-2024) shall be held during March 15tth and 16th, 2024. Esteemed scientists, academics, researchers, and students specializing in Chemistry and its related fields from across India will convene for invaluable discussions during the conference’s technical sessions. The conference’s thematic focus, “Chemistry for a Sustainable Future,” underscores the imperative to address challenges and environmental concerns posed by harmful chemicals. It aims to unite scientists, academicians, and industrialists, showcasing cutting-edge research in polymer science and technology, particularly emphasizing initiatives aimed at preserving and enhancing global and human health. Both oral presentations and poster contributions are encouraged.

This event serves as an exceptional platform for researchers to exchange ideas, participate in critical debates, and explore domains like Chemical Sciences, Green Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, and Advanced Engineering, including Materials and Petrochemical Engineering. Continuing the legacy of its eight successful predecessors, this conference maintains its tradition of impactful gatherings, attracting distinguished figures within their respective fields and dedicated research scholars alike.

Faculty members within this department are actively engaged in pioneering research within Chemistry and Environmental studies. Their work receives support from industry and government grants and contracts, underscoring strengths in diverse domains such as synthesizing metal complexes and bioactive molecules, environmental chemistry, environmental management, supramolecular chemistry, energy-efficient technologies, occupational health, and material sciences.

Offering programs like M.Sc. in Chemistry, M.Sc. in Petroleum Technology, and Ph.D. programs in Chemistry and Environmental Sciences, the Department provides avenues for specialized education and research opportunities to aspiring students in these fields

We welcome original research papers focusing on the aforementioned topics for presentation, either orally or via posters, at the conference. To participate, delegates are required to submit their abstracts to race2024@itmuniversity.ac.in. Accepted abstracts will be featured in the conference’s souvenir.

Abstract submissions should adhere to specific guidelines: a onepage abstract detailing experimental findings on A4 size paper, containing no more than 350 words. The text should be typed in Times New Roman Font (size 12) with single spacing. Submission must be made before the specified deadline. Additionally, authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of their content and confirming its freedom from plagiarism.

Selected papers presented during the conference will have the opportunity to be published either as proceedings in esteemed

Poster boards will be provided for poster presentation. Each poster will be allotted a board space measuring 120*150cm (48”*60). The text should be rendered with a sufficiently large font to be legible form a distance of 1-2 meters. Graphs, tables, figures, photographs or maps be used within the limits of the board space allocated. The oral presentation shall be 10 minutes duration. Details for online /offline presentation shall be shared in due course of time

AWARDS

Best oral/poster presentations will be awarded in the valedictory function of the conference in each category with first, second and third positions.

ACCOMMODATION

Gwalior has number of Guest House/ hotels with tariff ranging from INR 1500/- to INR5500/- Hotels are located within a radius of about 10 km from ITM University campus. Those who are desirous of hotel accommodation are requested to inform the organizer well advance.
