School of Architecture and Design (SOA)

School of Architecture at ITM University is dedicated to developing the sensitivity, imagination and intellect for understanding and designing the built environment. Architecture is an exciting discipline for those who have a penchant for aesthetics and creativity with a desire to create real world environments. Students at the School of Architecture are trained to pursue architecture as a humanistic and professional discipline. We intend to develop the school as a catalyst for changing the creative scenario of architecture and design in the country. School of architecture at ITM University actively engages practicing architects to steer the curriculum and academic prowess of its faculty. Amongst our faculty are some of the prominent practicing and acclaimed architects of the region. The School of Architecture & Design was established in year 2012 with approval of Council of Architecture, New Delhi under Architect Act 1972,. The school has its own building having good infrastructure like Studios, Audio visual room, Model Making Room , Computer Lab, Lecture/Seminar Hall in ITM University campus, the school got outstanding support from practicing Architects & Academician. The school has emphasis on providing exposure of the field to the students by designing study tours, site visits as part of academic programmes and by attending NASA conventions.

conferred with the Best Private University Serving Social Cause, Award by ASSOCHAM (Associate Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India) in the National Education Excellence Awards 2013, an initiative by ASSOCHAM, held on April 9, 2013, in New Delhi. The award was handed over by the Hon’ble Union Minister of HRD, Dr. M.M. Pallam Raju to Prof. (Dr.) Yogesh Upadhyay, Vice Chancellor, ITM University Gwalior. ITM SOET has received highest ratings for its learning-outcome based academic programmes, state-of-art infrastructure, rich academic resources, continuous evaluation system, credit based system and global outlook. Programmes at ITM SOET are a showcase of flexibility, predictability, and transparency. All our academic programmes are based on a system of credits-generally guided by ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) as a proper means of promoting the most widespread student mobility. The basic intent of the school is to impart quality education at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral research levels. A best of teaching and learning techniques are used to impart knowledge and skills to the students in the school. A blend of different methodologies is used to enhance conceptual and analytical abilities of students. At undergraduate level students are involved with innovative project work and postgraduate level students have to work on a dissertation chosen in consultation with industry experts. Excellent relationship with industry professionals and experts has time and again helped us to create refined professional individuals.

B.Arch (5 year full time degree course)
B.Tech./B.Tech. (Hons.)

B.Tech. + M.Tech./MBA, B.Tech. (Hons.) + M.Tech./MBA (Integrated 5yrs.)
Eligibility:
Intermediate in science stream with mathematics from a recognized Board with at least 50% marks with JEE score card.
* Intermediate with PCB/PCM from a recognized Board with at least 50%
Note: Lateral Entry for B.Tech/B.Tech. (Hons.) (all above branches)
A. 3 Years Diploma in any branch of Engg. with at least 50% marks from a Institute recognized by state Board of Tech Education. or
B. Must have passed 1st year of B.E./B.Tech. in any branch with atleast 50% marks from any college/institute affiliated to central/state university.or
C. B.Sc. with at least 50% marks from any central/state university, with physics and mathematics at intermediate level (except for biotech engg. wherein intermediate with physics, chemistry.)
M.Tech.
Eligibility:
B.E., B.Tech. With minimum 55% marks from recognized university as per AICTE/UGC guidelines in relevant branches. Candidates with valid GATE score may also apply.
