The School offers a Postgraduate program in Pharmaceutics. We have a dedicated research lab for the postgraduate students, which is equipped with all sophisticated instrumentations required for advanced research in this field. Besides, we also offer the Central Instrumentation Facility of the University, which is further equipped with the latest analytical equipment. This is PCI approved 2-years course, the annual intake in this branch is 16, on completion and submission of a research-based thesis, the student will be awarded the Degree of Master of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutics.
Master of Pharmacy mainly deals with the proper use of pharmaceutical products and the underlying chemistry related to them. M. Pharmacy is not a terminal degree; hence, students can opt for a Ph.D. degree in a subject-specific domain to gain a certain level of expertise and to become eligible to teach in colleges, or may pursue MBA to enter the challenging field of management and business in the Pharmacy or Hospital Management domain.
